Return & Refund Policy

At The Sud Shack, we want you to feel good about every handcrafted product you bring into your home. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.


Returns

We offer a 14‑day return window starting the day your order is delivered. To request a return, email us at brenda3488@thesudshackllc.com.

To be eligible for a return, items must be unopened, unused, and in the same condition you received them, including original packaging.

Because our products are personal‑care items (soaps, lotions, lip balms), we cannot accept returns on any opened or used products for hygiene and safety reasons.

Please do not send any items back without contacting us first. Unapproved returns cannot be accepted.


Who Pays for Return Shipping?

We always aim to be fair:

  • If the issue is on our end (wrong item, damaged on arrival, defect, etc.): We cover return shipping, and no restocking fee applies.

  • If the return is due to customer error (wrong item ordered, changed mind, etc.): The customer covers return shipping, and a 50% restocking fee applies.


Damages or Issues

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us right away. Send your order number and a photo so we can make it right as quickly as possible.


Non‑Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Opened or used products

  • Personal care items once opened

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Custom or personalized items

Exchanges

If you’d like something different, the fastest method is to start a return. Once your return is approved, you can place a new order for the item you want.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you to let you know if it’s been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to process the refund.
