When will you ship my order?
Orders are processed within 1-3 business days. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order leaves our hands.
How long does shipping take?
Once shipped, most orders arrive within 5-7 business days via USPS. Delivery times vary by location.
How much does shipping cost?
Flat rate shipping of $7.99 anywhere in US. Free Shipping on orders over $49. Exact rates are also shown at checkout before payment.
Do you ship internationally?
Right now we ship within the continental United States only.
My order hasn't arrived — what should I do?
Start with the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email. If your package shows as delivered but you haven't received it, check with neighbors and your local post office. Still no luck? Email me at Thesudshack@yahoo.com and I will sort it out.
Our Products
Is your soap safe for sensitive skin?
My soaps are made with goat milk and plant‑based oils, and are free of sulfates and parabens. I do offer both scented and unscented options, and many customers with sensitive skin do well with my bars. If you have a known ingredient allergy, please check the full ingredient list on each product page. When in doubt, start with our unscented bar.”
Are your products natural, vegan, or cruelty-free?
At Sud Shack, every recipe is created with purpose. Some of my soaps are made with tallow or lard because these traditional ingredients create an incredibly creamy, long‑lasting, gentle bar that plant oils alone can’t always match.
I do also offer bars that are made from just goat milk and plant based oils.
How long does handmade soap last?
Unopened, my soaps keep well for 12-18 months. Once you start using a bar, it'll last 3-5 weeks with daily use. For longest life, let your bar dry out between uses and store it on a draining soap dish.
Why does each bar look a little different?
Every bar is made by hand in small batches, so slight variations in color, swirl pattern, and size are completely normal — and a sign that a real person made your soap. The ingredients and quality are consistent batch to batch.
Orders & Returns
Can I change or cancel my order?
I start processing orders quickly, so changes aren't always possible. Email me at Thesudshack@yahoo.com as soon as you can and I will do my best. Once an order has shipped I cannot make changes to it.
What's your return policy?
Because my products are personal care items, I do not accept returns on used bars or lotions. If you're not happy with your order for any reason, email me within 30 days of delivery and I will make it right. I stand behind what I make.
My order arrived damaged — what do I do?
I am sorry — that shouldn't happen. Email me at Thesudshack@yahoo.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damage and I will send a replacement right away.
About the Business
Where are you located?
I’m based in Chesapeake, Virginia, where I make every batch of soap by hand in my home studio. I don’t have a retail storefront yet, but I’m currently working on getting my products into local boutiques and small businesses. As soon as everything is finalized, I’ll share where you can find Sud Shack products in person
Do you sell at local markets or events?
Yes, I do pop up at local events a few times a year. The best way to catch me in person is to follow along on Instagram/ Facebook or join my email list.
